How To Blow Up A Kiddie Pool

Badlands National Park, South Dakota

Our next trip was a place called the Badlands National Park National Park in South Dakota. This was some 2.5 hours from Devils Tower.

This is a very interesting place - sedimentary rock, characterized by a prominent sedimentary layers (was it used to be bottom of the ocean), later weathered the effects of weathering. Sa result of this deep valley cut out of the rock pillars between the more resistant rocks.

We spent two days there - it was hot (near 40 degrees), but in the afternoon we spent a lot of time soaking in the pool at the campsite.
